FAQ
Your French bubble manufacturer, BubbleTree, provides you with a silent blower and ventilation system. This ensures the Bubble is always maintained at a slight overpressure thanks to the very quiet turbine that continuously fills it with air. This turbine must be kept running while the Bubble is occupied, as it allows the structure to maintain its shape.
The turbine also allows for the renewal and filtration of air inside the Bubble and limits condensation and bacteria.
Furthermore, to prevent the fabric from sagging, one of the two airlock doors must always remain closed. For the circulation of people: open and close the airlock doors one after the other.
The consumption of a genuine BubbleTree turbine is very low (50 to 100W) and allows for energy self-sufficiency with ecological solutions adapted to your project. Consult BubbleTree for more information.
BubbleTree turbines are very quiet (32 to 36dB) and are housed in soundproof enclosures.
The Bubble must be installed on flat, well-drained ground. A wooden deck is ideal. If your ground isn’t suitable, BubbleTree can provide optional decking to ensure optimal installation.
Once the Bubble is received, the customer can assemble the structure themselves. Detailed instructions are provided, and our team is also available to answer any questions and provide support via video call.
Authentic bubbles from the French manufacturer BubbleTree can be used in all weather conditions.
Snow is no problem; we have our bubbles in Iceland, in the mountains, and even in very hot countries (Mexico, Jordan, etc.) and in the tropics. We have developed our materials and options such as heating to adapt our bubbles to different climates, both cold and hot. Contact us!
There are several options for heating or cooling Bubbles. These include installing small auxiliary fans, our professional heating or stove options, our thermal screens, and creating a Canadian well. Depending on your configuration, BubbleTree will work with you to develop the most suitable solution.
Authentic bubbles from French manufacturer BubbleTree have undergone anti-UV treatment (and an M2 fire rating, making them a “hardly flammable” structure). They are therefore made to withstand the harsh rays of the sun.
Taking care of the Bulle is very simple. Do not use abrasive products, but clean it with clear water or a standard solvent-free window cleaner. If the water is hard, rub with a soft cloth to avoid leaving marks. If the stains are persistent, you can use white spirit, but then rinse thoroughly with clear water.
With the certified anchors installed by BubbleTree, the bubbles can withstand storms exceeding 140 km/h of wind, which is required by regulations for installing our structures on Parisian rooftops (Canopy Hilton for example). However, according to French regulations, public reception on outdoor sites is possible up to 70 km/h of wind. Beyond that, your insurance may no longer apply. Finally, objects, branches, and other things can injure people and hit the Bubble.
If the Bubble is used conscientiously, it can be expected to last at least 5 or 6 years. By following our maintenance guidelines, some sites can last up to 10 years.
If it is indeed our bubbles that are pictured, on many sites, like DomeBulle.com, Tenteaventure.com or Tente-aventure.com and Alibaba and AliExpress… the products sold are copies made in China. Quality, safety, ethics, chemistry… often pose problems. Some unscrupulous ones like domebulle.com have been the subject of victim actions via the show “It can happen to you” by Julien Courbet on RTL and M6. Others like Tente Aventure, at least as far as ventilated bubbles are concerned, are illicit Chinese copies. These companies like Tente Aventure, are trading companies, their only address is a mailbox, of course they can tell you that they are passionate about nature etc… For our part, you can come and test our products in our showroom in Dricham in the 59 and visit our production site. We’ve been in business for over 16 years and frankly we’re fed up with unscrupulous crooks.
Apart from the choice that is up to each person to prefer a pale copy of Chinese manufacture to a French one, it is necessary to understand why there are no bubbles with a frame installed on the roofs of Paris where they are required to withstand 140 km/h and why in tropical zones a bubble with a frame makes no sense while the BubbleTree have been present there since their creation. In the event of an intense climatic phenomenon, a cyclone for example, it is necessary to maintain the capacity to deflate quickly and simply while the storm and the transported objects (branches, boats, trees, etc.) pass. Then the protective tarpaulin is removed and reinflated to resume its activity.
