How does the Bubble stay up?
The Bubble is inflated by a silent fan that blows in the air. This air blower is necessary to let the Bubble keep its form. It also constantly renews and filters the air inside the Bubble, preventing condensation and development of bacteria. Also, to keep the Bubble’s form, it is necessary that one of the doors of the airlock entrance module be closed. The doors should be opened and then closed one after another to let people come in.
What is the power consumption of the air blower?
The very low power consumption air fan needs 55 to 100W. The power autonomy can easily be achieved with off-grid solutions. Please consult BubbleTree to get more information.
Is the air blower noisy?
The air blowers are very silent (32 à 36dB) and supplied in soundproof boxes.
How to install the Bubble?
The Bubble should be put on a flat and drained ground, ideally a wooden deck. It is also recommended to place the Bubble in a shadowed area to limit exposure to protect the Bubble from excessive sunlight. If that’s not the case, please consult BubbleTree for the sunshade option.
What are the weather conditions to use the Bubble?
Authentic Bubbles from the French manufacturer BubbleTree can be used in any weather. There is no problem for snow, we have our Bubbles in Iceland, in the mountains… just as in very hot countries (Mexico, Jordan….) and in the Tropics. How is the temperature regulated inside the Bubble?
Different solutions can be used for heating and air conditioning: BubbleTree’s professional integrated heating systems (consult us for this option), ground-coupled heat exchangers for the geothermic solutions, sunshades… BubbleTree elaborates on the solution matching the requirements of your site.
How is the air inside protected from humidity?
Water evacuation system is used, and the ventilation system ensures evacuation of the condensed steam under normal conditions of use. For the special conditions (high condensation because of large temperature fluctuations or countries with limited water supply) we propose customized solutions.
Does the UV affect the PVC?
The structures are treated against UV to resist aggressive sun (as well as certified anti flame propagation).
What is the structure’s resistance to the wind?
The Bubble anchoring system from the manufacturer BubbleTree resists storms that exceed 100 km/h of wind, however the French norms regarding reception of the public on open-air sites stipulate usage up to 70 km/h of wind.
How to take care of the Bubble?
Cleaning the bubble is very simple: wash it with clean water or solvent-free window cleaner if needed, then dry with a chamois. It is possible to use white spirit for stains, then wash with clean water. Do not use abrasive products.
What is the life span of your bubbles?
Under normal conditions, the authentic BubbleTree bubble tents manufactured in France will be used for 6 to 10 years depending on the care provided.
